The move to the Southwest created the perfect opportunity for Laurissa to pursue her passion in being with people at the most sacred and transforming moments in their lives. She established a private practice is Psychology and very soon began conducting funerals for families in the South West. It wasn’t long before Laurissa realised that this was definitely her vocation. She studied and was accepted in the then rigorous selection process, as one of the youngest and most qualified Marriage Celebrants in the region.

“I enjoy being with and supporting people through all stages of their lives, this is my passion. Whether we shared the deep sadness of a loss, the struggle of illness, the absolute joy and elation of a new baby or a wonderful coupling, I am honoured that people have allowed me the privilege to be close to them at these times”.
