About Laurissa
Laurissa was educated at Santa Maria College, and went onto the University of Notre Dame where she gained a double degree in Psychology and Theology and a Post Graduate degree in Education.
She began her career in Perth as a teacher at Santa Maria College. Upon the arrival of her two sons - Ezekiel and Dante, her little family decided to embark on a sea change to the Margaret River Region. She has happily lived, worked and been an enthusiastic member of the community for 20 years.
The move to the South-West created the perfect opportunity for Laurissa to pursue her passion in being with people at the most sacred and transforming moments in their lives. She established a private practice in Psychology and very soon began conducting funerals for families in the South West. It wasn’t long before Laurissa realised that this was definitely her vocation. She studied and was accepted in the rigorous selection process as one of the most qualified Marriage Celebrants in the region.
Laurissa holds a special place in the heart of families in her local communities. Families in Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River and Augusta request and recommend Laurissa as a sincere, caring, witty and vivacious woman who brings professionalism, charisma and empathy to her practise.
